Trwyn Cae Iago

Planning permission was granted following an appeal to Welsh Ministers for a cliff-top replacement dwelling of conspicuously modern design and appearance, in the face of strong local opposition. The site lies within a Special Landscape Area and overlooks the Afon Glaslyn estuary where it runs into Tremadog Bay, with expansive views over the wider landscape of Snowdonia. Costs were also awarded against the local planning authority for its unreasonable behaviour in its handling of the application and subsequent refusal.
